What should be written here, that's the question? There's no point going into detail, as the vast majority of people that have got this far will know me anyway, and therefore won't need to be told the basics, and any random visitors are likely to have better things to do than read minutiae!

To keep things brief, I'm originally from Derbyshire, but now live in south London. I should make it clear that while I do appreciate the sheer variety that London offers, it's not entirely my cup of tea. I'm mostly here because this is where my job is, working on environmental stuff. Ironically, I don't have much of a track history in the environment, having done degrees in Classical Studies (BA) and Mythology (MA) at the University of Bristol.

Outside of work related things, I enjoy films (both watching and making), the theatre, reading and writing all sorts of things, and travelling. I also theoretically play a number of sports, although I've not done anywhere near as much as I should have done! I'm also a big fan of cooking...or rather, I'm a big fan of eating, and therefore cooking comes as a necessary prerequisite to that other hobby.
